Serverwala advertises Philippines VPS hosting from **US$25 per month for Linux** and **US$35 per month for Windows**. The entry plans have different CPU, RAM and storage allocations, so their price difference should not be treated as a standalone Windows license fee.

**Price and specification check: October 20, 2026.** We checked the official country listing, terms and public order configurations for both Starter plans. The other tiers below record advertised USD prices. This review does not include a rented-server benchmark, uptime measurement or latency test.

## Linux VPS Plans

The Linux tab on the [official Philippines VPS page](https://www.serverwala.com/en-us/vps/vps-philippines) lists the following one-month offers.

| Plan | vCPU | RAM | Storage | Price/month |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Starter | 1 | 1 GB | 25 GB | US$25 |
| Basic | 2 | 2 GB | 50 GB | US$38 |
| Premium | 4 | 4 GB | 100 GB | US$55 |
| Enterprise | 6 | 6 GB | 150 GB | US$68 |

## Windows VPS Plans

The Windows selection on the same page lists different resource bundles. Compare the exact configurations when assessing value.

| Plan | vCPU | RAM | Storage | Price/month |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Starter | 2 | 2 GB | 50 GB | US$35 |
| Basic | 3 | 3 GB | 80 GB | US$48 |
| Premium | 4 | 4 GB | 120 GB | US$65 |
| Enterprise | 6 | 6 GB | 150 GB | US$95 |

Both selections display **500 GB transfer** for each plan. The entry annual offers are US$270 for Linux and US$378 for Windows. Dividing those totals by 12 gives US$22.50 and US$31.50 per month respectively; the annual payment and one-month payment remain different purchasing choices.

**The Windows Starter order page specifies a 180-day Windows OS trial.** An offered Windows image therefore does not establish that a permanent Windows license is included. Confirm the licensing arrangement, any additional cost and how the server will remain licensed after the trial before committing to a long term.

## Starter Order Configurations and Extra Costs

The public [Linux Starter configurator](https://www.serverwala.cloud/?cmd=cart&action=add&id=1126) confirms 1 CPU core, 1 GB RAM, 25 GB SSD, 500 GB transfer and a **shared 1 Gbps port**. Its billing options show US$25 for a monthly term; the annual selection totals US$270 with a US$0 setup fee.

The [Windows Starter configurator](https://www.serverwala.cloud/?cmd=cart&action=add&id=1130) confirms 2 CPU cores, 2 GB RAM, 50 GB SSD, 500 GB transfer and the same shared port specification. It lists US$35 for a monthly term and US$378 for an annual term, with a US$0 setup fee and the trial restriction above. Its optional fully managed server add-on lists US$65 per month; backups and transfer extensions are separate options.

These are public configuration prices and subtotals, not a completed invoice. We did not verify the other tiers in the client portal. Serverwala's [terms, section 13](https://www.serverwala.com/term-condition), state that USD is the base pricing currency and that the client portal takes precedence if its prices differ from the marketing website.

The buying decision should use the portal's selected location, operating system, term, management options, taxes and complete amount payable. Keep a copy of that configuration when comparing another provider, and check the renewal terms rather than assuming the first bill fixes every future charge.

## Location, Network and Management

Serverwala markets these plans as Philippines-based. The country page provides a [Philippines network test link](https://lg-philippines.hybridserver.net/), but we did not independently establish the physical building or benchmark a purchased instance. Ask for a test IP for the actual service if facility location or routing is a deciding factor.

The country-page FAQ says the listed prices are for **unmanaged VPS**, with management available separately. Its [general VPS page](https://www.serverwala.com/vps/vps-server) describes root access, server control and resource upgrades. Those controls are useful to an administrator, but they do not remove the need to maintain the applications running on the server.

Before choosing a plan, agree who owns patching, monitoring, incident response and restores. If your team cannot take those tasks on, compare a specific management quote with the full cost of a managed hosting alternative.

## Resource Sizing and Tradeoffs

Our assessment is that the separate Linux and Windows catalogs are helpful when you already know your workload. A small Linux application may be able to start with less memory, while a Windows service needs room for the operating system, updates and the intended software.

A higher-tier plan does not increase the displayed 500 GB transfer allowance. A download-heavy service should ask about transfer extensions and port conditions before paying for extra CPU or RAM. For a database-heavy application, leave room for logs, temporary files and recovery operations as well as the live database itself.

We would compare the complete resource bundle and actual network route rather than an untested claim of "fastest" hosting. Published resources do not establish sustained CPU share, disk I/O or application response time.

## Refunds and Cancellation

The [published terms](https://www.serverwala.com/term-condition) describe a conditional seven-day **account-credit** policy for eligible new customers, with exclusions and provider approval. They do not justify promising every VPS buyer an unconditional cash refund. Renewals and added account credit have separate restrictions.

Read those conditions before choosing a long term. A short first purchase can limit the amount committed while you evaluate whether the deployment suits the real application, subject to the provider's order and cancellation rules.

## Our Assessment

Serverwala is worth evaluating for a project seeking its advertised Philippines location and a choice of Linux or Windows bundles. The main questions are the specific deployment, Windows licensing after the trial, management scope and whether 500 GB transfer fits the workload. The verified Starter configurations give a concrete starting point; confirm the selected tier and complete invoice before paying.

Our [Serverwala pricing guide](https://philippinesvps.com/pricing/serverwala-philippines-vps-pricing) compares monthly and annual Starter costs and optional management fees. For more context, compare [other VPS provider reviews](https://philippinesvps.com/review/) and our [guide to VPS hosting](https://philippinesvps.com/guide/what-is-vps-hosting). Keep the location requirement, operating system and billing term consistent across quotes.
