OVHcloud VPS Pricing for the Philippines

OVHcloud's Asia VPS catalog advertises plans from US$4.54 per month with a 12-month commitment. In the Singapore configuration we checked, VPS-1 was US$5.35 for a one-month term, or US$54.48 for 12 months, excluding taxes and optional services.

Price and specification check: October 20, 2026. This guide uses the Asia storefront in USD. The provider labels the currently displayed model family "VPS 2027"; that is its product-generation name. Storefronts, earlier model generations and regional availability can show different offers.

Current VPS Catalog Prices and Specifications

The following are the advertised starting prices with a 12-month commitment on the official Asia VPS pageopen in new window. A catalog listing does not establish stock in every region.

Plan vCores RAM NVMe storage Advertised rate/month Public port
VPS-1 2 4 GB 40 GB From US$4.54 500 Mbps
VPS-2 4 8 GB 75 GB From US$8.50 1 Gbps
VPS-3 6 12 GB 100 GB From US$12.32 2 Gbps
VPS-4 8 24 GB 200 GB From US$23.37 3 Gbps

Port speed and monthly transfer allowance are different limits. A faster port can move data more quickly; it does not remove the regional transfer quota described below.

Singapore Price and Availability Check

The VPS-1 configuratoropen in new window showed Singapore as available with no optional services selected. Its 12-month total was US$54.48, equivalent to US$4.54 per month. Selecting "No commitment" changed the displayed price to US$5.35 per month.

The VPS-2 configuratoropen in new window showed no available location under Asia/Oceania with its default Ubuntu 26.04 image during our check. Treat the US$8.50 figure as a catalog quote, not a confirmed Singapore order. Recheck the chosen model, image and region immediately before purchase.

We did not find a Manila option in the configuration checked. For Philippine visitors, Singapore is a regional hosting choice; it does not establish Philippine data residency. If local hosting is essential, compare providers that explicitly offer a Philippines deployment.

Asia-Pacific Transfer Quotas

The footnote on the Asia product pageopen in new window specifies these monthly quotas for Mumbai, Singapore and Sydney for the displayed range:

Plan Included regional transfer/month
VPS-1 500 GB
VPS-2 1 TB
VPS-3 1 TB
VPS-4 3 TB

After the quota, the page says bandwidth is capped at 10 Mbps. Use that regional condition when planning a Singapore deployment, even though the general plan cards say "Unlimited traffic". Do not substitute allowances from an older VPS generation or the US storefront.

For a download service, video library or backup relay, estimate transfer first. For example, a 2 GB download served 300 times is approximately 600 GB before other traffic, which exceeds the quoted VPS-1 allowance.

Backups, Options and Commitment Terms

The VPS-1 configuration included standard automatic backup. It separately offered a snapshot option at US$0.40/month, premium automatic backup with a seven-day restore window at US$1.40/month, and a 50 GB additional disk at US$2.60/month, excluding taxes. These are the options displayed for that configurationopen in new window; other plans or locations need their own quote.

The configurator states that a commitment renews for the same duration unless renewal is disabled before expiry. Include that renewal setting in your purchasing decision. A low monthly equivalent still ties up the full term's budget.

Our assessment is to start with the smallest plan that fits measured memory, disk and transfer requirements, then keep an independent copy of data you cannot afford to lose. A provider backup is useful, but your recovery plan should also cover application credentials, configuration and database consistency.
