Premium RDP Philippines VPS Review
Premium RDP advertises Manila VPS plans from US$30 per month, with a US$15 monthly Windows license charge. For a Windows purchase, the entry plan's displayed base rate plus that license is US$45 per month, before any other invoice charges. Disk size and image eligibility need attention before ordering.
Price and specification check: October 20, 2026. We checked the official Manila listing, location directory and service policies. The prices below are advertised offers; we could not independently confirm a logged-in checkout total or stock. This is a documentary review, without rented-server performance tests.
Advertised Manila Plans
The official Manila VPS page displays these monthly plans in USD. "With Windows" below is our calculation of the base price plus the listed US$15 license.
| Plan | vCPU | RAM | SSD | Transfer/month | Base/month | With Windows/month |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Manila 1 | 1 | 1 GB | 20 GB | 1 TB | US$30 | US$45 |
| Manila 2 | 1 | 2 GB | 25 GB | 2 TB | US$40 | US$55 |
| Manila 3 | 1 | 2 GB | 30 GB | 1 TB | US$46 | US$61 |
| Manila 4 | 2 | 3 GB | 30 GB | 2 TB | US$56 | US$71 |
The listing specifies a 100 Mbps network port and one dedicated IP for each plan. It describes the service as managed, but the operational tasks covered should be confirmed for the exact order.
The plans are not a simple ladder in every resource: Manila 3 lists less monthly transfer than Manila 2. Choose using the complete combination of CPU, memory, disk and transfer rather than assuming that a higher price improves all four.
Windows Licensing and Disk Compatibility
The service policy states that Windows Server 2016/2019 requires at least 30 GB disk space. Manila 1 and 2 advertise 20 GB and 25 GB respectively. Adding a Windows license to the price therefore does not prove that your chosen image fits those plans.
Confirm the available Windows version, minimum memory and disk requirement, activation method and complete monthly price before ordering. The 30 GB plans may meet the provider's stated disk threshold, but they still need an image-specific check. Ask whether the quoted license covers the way you intend to connect and use the software.
For a remote desktop workload, allow disk space for updates, application installs, user profiles and logs. An entry server that merely installs successfully can still be too small for the work you intend to run.
Manila Location and Network Claims
Premium RDP's location directory labels Manila as a Philippines residential location and publishes a test address. That is the provider's classification; it is not an independent guarantee of an IP's reputation, geolocation or acceptance by another service.
Test the route from your own connection and confirm that your intended application is permitted. We did not benchmark the published test address or verify a specific server's physical facility. For a business service, request the deployment and network details relevant to your requirements.
Management, Uptime and Recovery
The Manila page promotes monitoring and server controls. It also uses different uptime figures in its feature heading and description. We would ask for the applicable written SLA and credit conditions rather than turn that marketing text into a measured uptime score.
Our assessment is to confirm who handles operating-system patching, application support, incidents and restores before choosing the service. Management is valuable when its scope matches the work your team needs done. A control panel alone does not answer whether someone will repair an application or recover an accidentally deleted database.
Keep an off-server backup of data you need to retain. For a desktop-style workload, include application configuration and user documents in the restore test as well as the server image.
Billing and Cancellation Restrictions
The published policies describe a minimum monthly service period, no prorated credit for early cancellation and restrictions on refunds for incorrect orders. They also describe automatic renewal unless the service is cancelled. Review the terms that apply to your order before payment, especially the location and operating-system selection.
A one-month server and Windows license at the entry advertised figures would total US$45, or US$540 over 12 unchanged monthly payments, before taxes and extras. This is an arithmetic budgeting example, not an annual discount offer or a guarantee of future rates.
Our Assessment
Premium RDP is a candidate when you want its advertised Manila location and have a specific Windows or VPS workload to evaluate. The license surcharge, small disks and image requirements are central to the decision. Obtain an order-specific confirmation before treating the lowest base price as a usable Windows server.
Our Premium RDP pricing guide separates base prices, Windows calculations and image restrictions. Compare the complete licensed configuration with other provider reviews. For a Linux website, also check whether a more conventional hosting plan would reduce the administration and recovery work.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Windows Included in the US$30 Starting Price?
The Manila page lists a US$15 Windows license separately. The base-plus-license calculation is US$45 per month, subject to image eligibility and the final invoice.
Is Plan 3 More Generous Than Plan 2 in Every Way?
No. Its advertised disk is larger, but the page lists a smaller transfer allowance. Match the resources to your application.
Have You Verified a Performance or Uptime Score?
No server benchmarks were conducted for this review. The article evaluates the dated public offer and documents the questions that require order-specific confirmation.
